Job Description

Due to extension with the department, a position has arisen for a Engineering Desktop within a leading nuclear research organisation in the North West. This is a 3 month contract with the possibility of extension thereafter.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Configuration and support of Desktop, Laptop and Tablet Computers
• Documenting standard fixes to a good standard
• Local Area Networking & equipment throughout the client sites and facilities
• Supporting and configuring printers and multi-functional devices
• Supporting the configuration management database (CMDB) update and maintenance
• SCCM Administration to a basic level

Required candidate experience:

• Hold a valid SC clearance
• Have at least 3 years’ experience in Technical Support
• Knowledge of Windows 7/8/10 and Office Suites (including Office 365)
• Experience of Cisco systems
